Surprise!

We received an invitation to Uncle Brian's surprise birthday party and decided to see what ticket prices were to go visit.  To OUR surprise, they were more than reasonable, so Parker and Mommy decided to make a surprise visit to Maine!  We needed to let Mimi in on the secret to ensure we had a ride from the airport, but not even Papa knew we were coming!

Parker was very entertained by all the commotion at the Tampa airport! ...even at 5:15 a.m...
Here we come!
Waiting for the birthday boy!
SURPRISE! :)
Papa's little cuddle buddy
Reading with Grammie Cindy
Yes, there was still snow when we arrived on March 27th.
A lot.
Parker was not a fan of all the bulky layers!

"Hi, Spur!"
Lunch time giggles with Papa
:)
"But Mom, Mimi said I could!"
This makes me happy.
"Hey, Mom."  Hanging out with Alex and Mayleigh
"No, no baby Parker, you can't do that."
What a goober!
I guess he didn't want me to forget to pack him!
Story time!
Chinese food is delicious!
This was our flight home :)  Glorious.
Mimi had already planned a visit down to Florida, so we coordinated our trip to Maine and all flew back the same day!

"Sharing" Mimi's donut with her

Mimi and her boys :)
Mimi trying to convince Parker that the tube is not as scary as he thinks it is...
Pit stop at the outlets
Sea World adventures!

We had such a great visit to Maine and with Mimi down here in Florida!  We are looking forward to our next visit to Maine (hopefully with Daddy)!  ...but we have decided that visiting in the Spring would be better withOUT all the snow!

Reunited, and It Feels So Good!

During our time in Germany, we were fortunate to have made some incredible friends!  Lauren and I were pregnant at the same time (Landon and Parker were actually born within days of each other and Lauren was in the same room I was!) and we became really close during our last year in Germany.  The Martinek's (Will, Lauren, Layla, Landon, and soon to be baby Blake!) have been stationed at Fort Benning and made the road trip from Georgia down to visit us before they moved back to California.  We are so grateful to have spent just these few short days with them and miss them even more now that they are gone :(

Landon :)
Playground time!
Kites!
Michael and Will played with the kites (...that were "for the kids") while the rest of us enjoyed the playground, but I did capture this incredible moment between Michael and Parker :)
Best friends :)
Oh wait, where's your kite, Michael?
I love them.
:)
Hibachi Steak House for dinner!!
This picture will most likely end up in someone's yearbook...

Great times with great friends!  It is our turn to head to California for a visit...

Being a Toddler is Hard Work!

Oh, Parker...the daily adventures of being your Mommy...

This little ball of awesome is becoming so independent and definitely knows what he wants (and doesn't)!  Each day he amazes me with what he learns and reminds me how much there is in life to truly enjoy.  Here is just a small glimpse at what it is like to hang out with this little crazy...

"Mom, get my good side."
Parker now gives high fives!  And yes, it is as adorable as you are picturing it to be.
I think he sat and played with this ball for over 20 minutes, totally fascinated
That is not quite now that works, buddy...
Yeah...or that...
Daddy and Auntie Mandy ran the "Run Or Dye" 5K in Tampa...Parker was not a fan of the paint.  Such a diva.
Isn't this how you drink your juice..?
...and eat your dinner...?
"No, Mom.  I don't need a shirt, see?"
I love him.
Did you put yourself in time out, P?
Funniest part...when the music came on, he kept going "Uh!  Uh!  Uh!"
Peek-A-Boo!
"Ok, Mom.  I'm ready to go!"

"So this is what I have been missing out on!  Look at all these things I am not suppose to touch!"
"Don't worry, Mom, I got the lights."
"...and my own lunch."
Never a dull moment!  Sometimes I wish there was someone else here to witness some of the things I see on a daily basis!  You can't help by smile at his ridiculousness.  It is definitely something new each and every day!

Other than chasing Parker everywhere, we are still hunting for the perfect house to call our home :)  The process is exciting and frustrating, but we hope to have a picture of us on the front lawn with a big "SOLD" sign in the background really soon!

All our love,
The Millers :)
